Villmarksliv’s Norwegian Champion in Nature Photography 2012
No surprise that Terje Sylte is the Champion for 2012; he has lead the competition from the very first Round and had 42 images being awarded Silver or Gold.

I was extremely happy to finish 3rd for the second year in a row; I received 3 golds, 32 silvers and 15 bronzes. I’m getting better at picking which images to enter but still some room for improvement

Congratulations to Bernt for a fantastic image of a fantastic subject. If I can capture a stoat image half as good before I die I’ll be happy.

I got 2nd!!! Wow, this result was a surprise!!! Still can’t believe it, only 0.3 points away from a trip to Alaska 
!! I was never sure if the jury would like this image and nearly didn’t enter it at all…I’m please I did now!!

I had my best round of the year scoring 202 which was a nice surprise and certainly helped me to hold on to 3rd place in the overall competition.

Congrats Andy! Incredibly strong last round, where you finally got what you deserved from the jury. A third in the real competition and runner up for the best picture speaks for itself. And going to Alaska is not for everybody;-)).

Congratulation. Must be frustrating to end third two years in a row, What I can see from the score this year is that the second place last year would end up in 8th this year.
The last round contained many nice imiges. I like the two first ones best!!

Actually I’m pretty please with 3rd, yes higher would have been nice but I scored much better this year so that was nice. Just need to find more gold images!!
